Professor DiFranza is an internationally renowned expert in tobacco control, with over 30 years of expertise and experience in the field, ranging from basic sciences research, clinical aspects of smoking and cessation, through to tobacco control policy. He has been involved for many years in adolescent smoking cessation research, and has conducted research on the impact of tobacco marketing on adolescents.
